Jose Aldo goes off on "pieces of s**t" in Conor McGregor's camp
bjpenndotcom - December 8, 2016
Recently crowned undisputed UFC featherweight champion Jose Aldo has been criticized quite a bit since he was promoted from the interim featherweight champion to the undisputed featherweight champion in the wake of Conor McGregor relinquishing the featherweight title. Aldo reigned as the UFC featherweight champion for five years, defending his title seven times over the course of his reign, which included a nearly 10 year unbeaten streak that extended back to his reign as the WEC champion. That all changed at UFC 194 however when Aldo stepped into the Octagon with Irish superstar Conor McGregor. In just 13 seconds, McGregor landed a brutal left-hand shot that starched Aldo, bringing an end to his five-year reign as champion.

Dana White gives update on Conor McGregor vs. Floyd Mayweather boxing match
bjpenndotcom - December 8, 2016
Since Conor McGregor was pulled from UFC 200 in April for refusing to fulfill his media obligations, there have been talks of the Irish superstar making the jump to boxing to compete against undefeated boxing icon Floyd Mayweather. While at that time talks progressed to the point that Colin Cowherd even announced the targeted date for the bout, the fight never materialized. Now, on the heels of McGregor’s UFC 205 win over Eddie Alvarez last month, which saw ‘Notorious’ claim the UFC lightweight championship and become the first ever simultaneous two-division UFC champion when he picked up a second round TKO win over Alvarez, talks of a McGregor-Mayweather boxing match have once again picked up steam.
Dana White clears the air: I didn't strip Conor McGregor of title
bjpenndotcom - December 7, 2016
Earlier this month, in a shocking move, it was revealed that Conor McGregor had relinquished the featherweight championship just weeks after winning the lightweight championship at UFC 205, where he became the first simultaneous two-division UFC champion. The move came after it was revealed that Daniel Cormier had been forced out of his main event scrap with Anthony Johnson due to a groin tear. As a result, the UFC promoted the co-main event scrap between Max Holloway & former UFC lightweight champion Anthony Pettis to the main event, and made the bout an interim featherweight title fight, with interim featherweight champion Jose Aldo subsequently being promoted to the undisputed featherweight champion.
Shocking arrest made in connection to Anthony Pettis' cars being set on fire
bjpenndotcom - December 7, 2016
Recently, unfortunate news surfaced that former UFC lightweight champion Anthony Pettis was targeted as several of his cars were set on fire in his driveway. Fortunately, no one was injured in the fire. Pettis took to Instagram immediately after the situation to plead for any information be given to police. I am a fighter. I won't be defeated by this. I am also extremely confused and saddened by the events that occurred. I am grateful that no one was harmed by this cowardly act. My life as well as my loved ones were put in danger. I cannot understand why someone would want to hurt myself or my family. I will do everything I can to ensure that we find out who committed this crime and that they are prosecuted to the full extent of the law. I'm constantly defending my choice to stay in this city. Regardless of the crimes that have been occurring lately, this is my home. I really hope the city that I rep has my back on this one and helps by reporting anything they know about this. #teampettis #250k🔥

bjpenndotcom - December 7, 2016
This Saturday, in the main event of UFC 206 in Toronto, top ranked featherweight Max Holloway and former UFC lightweight champion Anthony Pettis will step into the Octagon in a highly anticipated showdown for the interim featherweight title. While the fight was initially set as the co-main event of the pay-per view, the fight was promoted to the main event, and made an interim title fight after Conor McGregor ‘relinquished’ his featherweight title, and the UFC promoted Jose Aldo to the undisputed featherweight champion. As a result, the fight between Holloway & Pettis was promoted to the main event, and made to be an interim featherweight title fight.
