Meanwhile, Junior Tafa (5-1 MMA) accepted tonight’s fight on extremely short notice, this after his brother Justin was forced to withdraw from the bout due to injury. Junior was most previously seen in action at August’s UFC Fight Night 225 event in Singapore, where he scored a first round knockout victory over Parker Porter.

Round one of this heavyweight bout begins and Marcos Rogerio de Lima comes forward and lands a low kick. He lands another. Junior Tafa replies with a jab. Another low kick from the Brazilian. The Brazilian forces the clinch and pushes the Aussie back up against the cage. The fighters break and Tafa lands a big jab. Another massive low kick and Tafa goes down. Marcos with a couple of follow up shots before the referee steps in to stop the contest.
