Jones recorded a past interview of Cormier and teased him after Cormier said that “people don’t even like me, they just hate Jon Jones!” Cormier replied to Jones’ video with a tweet questioning what “Bones” was doing in the dark watching the old videos of DC.

The pound-for-pound debate is never ending. Experts, fans, and fighters themselves will all have their opinion on who the best pound-for-pound fighter is or was. That one “best” individual all comes down to one’s point of view and there will always be an argument coming in hot for the debate. In the recent UFC 194 post-fight press conference, Conor McGregor was asked by a media member if he feels that he is the number one pound-for-pound fighter in the world, and he said that he is. McGregor said that he as a whole package, no one can do it better than him. The UFC currently has McGregor as number three.

At just 19-years-old, Sage Northcutt is the youngest active fighter in the UFC. With an impressive win over Francisco Trevino at UFC 192, Northcutt is set to face Cody Pfister at UFC Fight Night 80 on Dec. 10 and looking to climb the ladder to the top of the lightweight division with a lofty goal in mind. “Everybody wants to be the UFC champion,” Northcutt said on an episode of “UFC Embedded.” “My goal is to be the youngest UFC champion in UFC history.” Former UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones holds that record winning the 205-pound title when he was just 23-years-old.
