Earlier this week it was revealed that former UFC light heavyweight kingpin Jon Jones had been pulled over for driving without a license, insurance card, or registration back in January. While many were worried that this could potentially violate Jones’ probation handed to him after his hit-and-run incident last year, Jones was ordered to perform more community service appearances for the tickets.

Former UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones is making headlines in the news once again for legal issues. Denise White, a representative for Jon Jones told MMA Junkie that Jones was speeding on January 31, 2016 and was issued a citation. “He will be in traffic court on Wednesday like everyone else that gets a speeding ticket,“ White wrote in an email to MMAjunkie. “Nothing to read into here but he was speeding. He is fully licensed and insured.”

The post was an obvious slap in the face to Reebok, who recently fined Cerrone for a uniform infraction. Now, former UFC light heavyweight kingpin Jon Jones took to Twitter to thank Nike for their wrestling shoes. In addition, UFC flyweight Ian McCall also posted a photo to Instagram praising Nike.
