Don’t expect former UFC champions and rivals Jon Jones and Daniel Cormier to bury the hatchet following their time coaching against each other.

Jon Jones and Daniel Cormier were at the center of arguably the most tense rivalry in UFC history during their careers. Years removed from their UFC 214 rematch, tensions between Jones and Cormier appeared to die down until they squared off as coaches of a Russian MMA reality television show.

Jones and Cormier opposed one another as coaches of ALF Reality 3, which is set to debut later this year. The two former UFC heavyweight and light heavyweight titleholders coached some of the top MMA prospects in the region, and according to Cormier, he and Jones argued numerous times on set about various topics.

Jones took things a step further in his first assessment of his reunion with Cormier on ALF Reality 3.

Jon Jones doesn’t hold back on Daniel Cormier as he responds to wrestling match offer

In a recent interview with Red Corner MMA, Jones shared an X-rated review of his time with Cormier on ALF Reality 3.

“This season against Daniel Cormier, man, what a stuffy d—head Cormier really is,” Jones said.

“I think if you really get to know Daniel Cormier, he’s an a—–. He didn’t really connect with any of the fighters here, he’s just an a——. I tried to make peace with him many times, and he made it very clear that he wants to be enemies for the rest of his life, because of how lucrative it is.

“There were moments when we got to laugh, but for the most part he’s a d–head,” Jones continued. “You look at the way he treats his staff members he brought. Ten ‘Yes Men’ out with him and he goes ‘Get me my water! Why is that, this?’. Bosses guys around. In the times we weren’t filming, he wasn’t very sociable with the people on set. He’s just a d—head.”

Jones didn’t stop there, as he responded to Cormier’s recent wrestling match offer, and hinted his top protege will surpass his accolades.

“If I got to wrestle against Daniel Cormier, it would be interesting to see what happens,” Jones said.

“But the one thing I know, is I made him cry in front of the world. I got to take him off the list considered of the greatest fighters of all-time. He’ll be even lower in the rankings of the greatest heavyweight of all-time because my prospect, Gable Steveson, is going to be three times the champion Daniel Cormier ever was.

“He’ll always be in my shadow, one way or another.”
