Jake Paul could beat up AJ McKee, per little brother Mason McKee

Jake Paul would defeat AJ McKee in combat sports competition, according to McKee’s younger brother. As McKee prepares for his first fight in San Diego, in the context of his dad Antonio’s broader legacy in MMA, Team Body Shop has such a lineage around the area. The older stories with AJ’s dad talking about Tito Ortiz and Rampage Jackson training back in the day, with the young lad who would go on to become Bellator champ years later was in the gym soaking it all in.
When touching on the familial context pieces adding even more to the PFL San Diego main event bout vs. Salamat Isbulaev on June 27th, McKee said [via Bowks Talking Bouts],
“Man, I wouldn’t be in the position that I’m in without him. So, hats off to him. He’s guided me through this whole journey of the mixed martial arts game and he’s taught me the ins and outs and the ropes of this game. So, wouldn’t be here without him.”
At the media day, a young boy was overheard daring his older brother to jump off a bridge, and when giving more insight into that, McKee stated [via Bowks Talking Bouts],
Yeah, that’s Lil Mason. That’s little bro. He’ll be nine next week. So, he’s next up and coming as well. I tell him to go play soccer. f**k fighting [laughs].”
When it was mentioned he could play in the World Cup someday many years down the line, McKee quipped [via Bowks Talking Bouts],
Exactly. He’s he’s athletic, so he’s got many skill sets. Fighting can always be his ace in the pocket, though.”
Quipping about how his young sibling could do an armbar before he could walk, McKee said [via Bowks Talking Bouts],
“Exactly. Literally knew how to do an arm bar before he could walk. Now he’s just, he’s in the gym. He kind of trains with us.I remember being his age and being in the gym watching the older guys and now he’s just kind of following the same path. So it’s inevitable that he’s going to fight. It’s kind of in his bloodline and that’s where he’ll end up.”
Jake Paul is Mason McKee’s favorite fighter, and AJ McKee jokingly needs to talk to him about it
A young AJ humorously asked his dad, Antonio, why he wasn’t as big a star as the aforementioned Ortiz or Rampage. When mentioning Mason’s version of a similar comment but directed toward him, McKee stated [via Bowks Talking Bouts],
“[laughs] No, he hasn’t hit me with that one. I think the funniest one he hit me with was that Jake Paul would beat me up. So Jake Paul’s his favorite fighter and Jake Paul beat me up and I was like, “All right, Mason, we’re going to have to have a talk about this.””
