Surging UFC lightweight contender Dustin “The Diamond” Poirier scored a thrilling fourth-round TKO victory over Justin Gaethje at last night’s UFC on FOX 29 event in Glendale.

After sixteen minutes of thrilling back and forth action, which saw Poirier absorb a plethora of hard leg kicks from Gaethje, Dustin was eventually able to put Justin away with punches early in round four.

Earlier tonight “The Diamond” took to social media where he posted the following photos of his damaged limbs.

That right leg is an absolute mess…

Following his epic victory over Gaethje, which is being touted as an early “fight of the year” candidate, Dustin Poirier decided to callout current UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov in his post-fight interview.

Since losing to Conor McGregor at featherweight in 2014, Dustin Poirier has since gone 7-1 with one no-contest in nine fights at 155-pounds.
