In a post-fight interview with MMAjunkie, Deiveson Figueiredo called for a fight with new UFC flyweight champion Henry Cejudo. If he can’t get this opportunity, well, he says he’ll settle for the most dominant champion in UFC history, former flyweight champion Demetrious “Mighty Mouse” Johnson.

“Now I have earned credit to ask for any of the top-5, even Cejudo,” Figueiredo said after his stoppage defeat of Moraga. “If it’s not Cejudo, make it Demetrious Johnson. I want one of the two.”

“I’ve earned credit to ask for either of the two,” Figueiredo added. “I knocked out a guy who’s fought for the belt.”

Since joining the UFC roster in June of 2017, Deiveson Figueiredo has gone 4-0, knocking out Marco Beltrán, defeating Jarred Brooks by decision, and knocking out Joseph Morales and John Moraga. Eight of his 15 wins have come by way of knockout, and five have come by way of submission.
