Khabib Nurmagomedov will put his UFC lightweight title on the line for the first time next weekend when he squares off with former division champion Conor McGregor.

The highly anticipated Conor vs. Khabib title fight headlines next Saturday’s UFC 229 event, which takes place live from T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

Khabib Nurmagomedov, who has gone a perfect 26-0 in his mixed martial arts career, is currently listed as the slight betting favorite over “Mystic Mac”.

“The Eagle” believes that Conor McGregor has come back for the sole purpose of promoting his new Whiskey “Proper Twelve”. With that said, the undefeated Russian sent a warning to the Irishman that he plans on changing his face at UFC 229. (See that video here)

UFC 229 will mark the first time that Conor McGregor has stepped foot inside the octagon since UFC 205 in November of 2016, where he defeated Eddie Alvarez via second-round knockout to become the first fighter in UFC history to hold two belts simultaneously.

Despite the lengthy layoff, Conor McGregor looks to be in incredible shape ahead of next weekend’s blockbuster event in Las Vegas.
