Since then, McGregor went up to welterweight to fight Nate Diaz in the main event of UFC 196. In addition, the UFC also booked a rematch between the pair for UFC 202 on August 20th.

Back in March, Nate Diaz stepped in on just two weeks notice to fight Conor McGregor in the main event of UFC 196. While the bout was initially supposed to be a lightweight matchup, the pair fought at welterweight. McGregor gassed out early in the fight, going into the second round looking rather flat footed. Diaz capitalized on the situation, landing a 1-2 combination that rocked the featherweight champ. McGregor then shot for a takedown, which ultimately resulted in Diaz securing a rear-naked choke, forcing McGregor to tap.

With just under a month to go until Conor McGregor’s rematch with Nate Diaz at UFC 202 on August 20th, Conor McGregor is looking incredibly muscular after training with JiuJitsu world champion Dillon Danis. Danis has been a staple in McGregor’s camp during his preparation for his rematch with Diaz. McGregor, who stands at 5’9, looks several inches shorter than Danis in the picture, but also looks incredibly muscular.

If I was to put all of them down and have one boxing plate spinning, it would be like a load off my shoulders.”
