VIDEO | Conor McGregor destroyed Jeremy Stephens at today’s UFC 205 press conference

Conor McGregor was in top form during Tuesday’s UFC press conference for the first official event in the Empire State.

When asked who would be the hardest fight out of every fighter on stage for the UFC 205 presser, Conor McGregor immediately shut down Jeremy ‘Little Heathen’ Stephens, who interrupted ‘Mystic Mac’ before he could answer.

Check it out:

“Right here,” Stephens interjected. “I’m the real hardest hitting 145 pounder out there. This guy TKO guys. When I knock them out, they don’t f***ing move.”

To which the Irishman replied, “Who the f*** is that guy? Who the f*** is that?”

“You know damn well who I am.” Stephens fired back.

Both men were sharing the dais with the rest of the officially announced fighters for UFC 205, which will be held at the historic Madison Square Garden on November 12. Stephens is set to take on former UFC lightweight champion Frankie Edgar, while Conor McGregor is fighting Eddie Alvarez for the 155-pound strap.

Jeremy Stephens is coming off a unanimous decision victory over former bantamweight kingpin Renan Barao. The hard-hitting featherweight has gone 2-1 over his past three contests, suffering a decision loss to top contender Max Holloway in his lone setback.

Meanwhile, Conor McGregor is coming off a majority decision win over rival Nate Diaz, which occurred in the headlining bout of last month’s UFC 202 event in Las Vegas. “Mystic Mac” has gone 8-1 in his UFC career, scoring finishes in six of those eight victories.

Within minutes of the exchange, someone edited Stephens’ (25-12) Wikipedia page and changed his nickname to ‘Who the F*** is That Guy’.

Who do you see winning in a potential fight between Jeremy ‘Little Heathen’ Stephens and Conor McGregor? Would ‘Mystic Mac’ score another predicted victory? Or would Stephens’ power and durability be enough to get the upset? Sound off, PENN Nation!
