Conor McGregor reveals he has his next fight set after UFC 329 return against Max Holloway

Conor McGregor claims he already has his next fight booked.
McGregor is set to return to the Octagon in the main event of UFC 329 on July 11 in a welterweight bout against Max Holloway. Heading into his return fight, McGregor is a sizable +230 underdog while the Hawaiian is a -310 favorite on FanDuel.
Although McGregor has yet to actually step into the Octagon, he claims his next fight is already booked for April 2027.
“I am contracted, and I have both dates,” McGregor said to Ariel Helwani on June 16. “I have both dates for my fights, I have July 11. When would you think they would put me back in? April 2027. It’s almost a year later. That’s ridiculous to me. This is the way the contract was done.”
When asked why he has the second date, McGregor wasn’t sure, but all he cares about is that he’s back on July 11 against Max Holloway and is looking to make a statement.
“I have my second date, April 2027. I’m like, huh? Just give me the f*****g contract, it gets to that stage. I have July 11, it’s just around the corner, it’s positivity. Bring it on, baby. The Mac is back, and I’m going to put on a show here in this fight,” McGregor said.
Conor McGregor reveals he has two fights left on his deal
Not only does McGregor have his next two fights booked, but that will also be the final fight on his contract.
McGregor confirmed that he has two fights left on his deal, but he’s hopeful that it will continue past that.
“I’m happy to an extent,” McGregor said. “There’s a lot more there. I hope it’s with the UFC, I hope we come to something, I hope I get honored even more. I hope I’m going to prove even more so what I’m about. It wasn’t that difficult. We met in the middle. We got a good, juicy one. Was it what I’m worth? Probably not. I’m a fair operator… I love the Ultimate Fighting Championship, and I’d love to continue.”
Yet, for now, the focus is on Holloway as McGregor plans to make a statement and get back in the win column in a big way.
