Conor McGregor is currently gearing up for his UFC 196 lightweight title fight with lightweight champion Rafael dos Anjos on March 5th.

Leading up to the fight, McGregor has been his typical self during media appearances, talking trash towards his opponent and questioning his allegiance to his home country of Brazil.

That caught the attention of former UFC middleweight kingpin Anderson Silva, who thanks to Chael Sonnen knows what being on the receiving end of trash talk feels like.

Silva spoke to media members at the ‘UFC London’ early open workouts yesterday:

“(Conor) McGregor, he’s a great fighter and he’s doing his job very well. He’s very intelligent and he knows exactly what he’s doing. But Rafael (dos Anjos) can not get led on by his antics because it didn’t work out very well for Jose Aldo.”

“I think both Jose Aldo and Rafael can both beat him and I also think Conor McGregor should really be careful about what he says about the Brazilians. Because the last person that spoke about a Brazilian, it didn’t end too well for him.”
