UFC CEO Dana White had a hilarious reaction to Jiri Prochazka’s viral altercation with Josh Hokit at UFC 327 media day.

Former UFC light heavyweight champion Jiri Prochazka will look to become a two-time titleholder when he fights the streaking Carlos Ulberg at UFC 327 this Saturday in Miami. After Alex Pereira vacated the light heavyweight title earlier this year, Prochazka vs. Ulberg was booked to keep the division moving.

It’s a matchup of youth vs. experience in the UFC 327 main event as Prochazka looks to reclaim the light heavyweight throne. Prochazka’s star power skyrocketed after recent finishes against Khalil Rountree Jr. and Jamahal Hill.

But Prochazka was at the center of an unusual incident just hours before UFC 327.

As fighters spoke with the media on Wednesday, Prochazka and controversial heavyweight Josh Hokit crossed paths in a hotel lobby, leading to a bizarre moment. As seen in footage that went viral, Hokit threatened to attack Prochazka with a makeshift lightsaber, while Prochazka sat calmly with his team and told Hokit to stay back.

Luckily, tensions didn’t escalate into a full-out fist fight, but it was a weird moment between Prochazka and Hokit backstage at UFC 327 media day. UFC CEO Dana White wasn’t in attendance at Wednesday’s media day, but was notified of the bizarre encounter during an interview.

White was shown a clip of the bizarre incident during a recent appearance on Adin Ross’ live stream.

Hokit will fight on the Prochazka vs. Ulberg undercard against Top 5 heavyweight Curtis Blaydes. The former Dana White’s Contender Series standout could potentially get into the title mix with an impressive victory over Blaydes.

As for Prochazka and Hokit’s unique feud, it appears that cooler heads eventually prevailed at Wednesday’s media day. But don’t expect the two colorful personalities to be friendly anytime soon.
