Kayla Harrison became the first U.S. athlete out of both men and women to win a gold medal in judo at the 2012 Olympics in London.

On Thursday, Harrison defeated Audrey Tcheumeo of France in the final round of the 78-kilogram weight class to win her second gold medal.
