Chuck Liddell and Phil Baroni are legendary pioneers in the sport of mixed martial arts.

Liddell made his pro MMA debut back at UFC 17 in 1998 and went on to become one of the biggest stars in the UFC. Liddell won the UFC light heavyweight title at UFC 52 by taking Randy Couture out in the first round with his powerful strikes to start his reign as the UFC champ.

Phil Baroni began his professional MMA career in 2000 and fought for many major MMA promotions including the UFC, PRIDE, Strikeforce, EliteXC, and Dream. Baroni was known for his speed, power, and, of course, his “New York Bad Ass” attitude.

Let’s take a look at this blast from the past as we see Liddell and Baroni in a competitive sparring match. We even get a glimpse of a much younger Dana White checking out the two training.
