It appears that the UFC can bank on 125,000 buys no matter how bad of a pay-per-view fight card they put together. August’s UFC 177 event in Sacramento was an absolute disaster from a promotional standpoint, but was still able to generate the aforementioned 125,000 PPV buys according to estimates.

Bethe Correia (9-0 MMA, 3-0 UFC) has gone a perfect 3-0 since joining the UFC’s women’s bantamweight division. The Brazilian was most recently seen in action at August’s UFC 177 event in Sacramento, where she earned a second-round TKO victory over Shayna Baszler.

A key featherweight bout will serve as the co-main event for the “TUF 20 Finale” in Las Vegas, as UFC officials recently announced that Charles Oliveira and Jeremy Stephens have been booked as the evenings co-feature. Charles Oliveira was supposed to fight Nik Lentz at last month’s UFC Fight Night 50 event. However, “Do Bronx” failed to make the featherweight limit and then wasn’t cleared to fight after falling ill with a viral infection.

A lightweight bout between Leandro Silva (16-2 MMA, 0-2 UFC) and Charlie Brenneman (19-7 MMA, 4-6 UFC) is the latest addition to December’s UFC Fight Night 58 event in Brazil. UFC officials announced the bout on Wednesday afternoon.

Since we started ‘The Ultimate Fighter’ we’ve done full background checks on all the guys coming in. “Well, actually it’s becoming less of a problem, because we have really stepped up our game as far as testing. So for these athletes there’s nowhere to hide. The first step was working with the various athletic commissions to make sure we had testing for the night of the fight, for every fighter on the card. Whereas it used to be years ago, it was more of a random basis. They would test the main event and maybe some of the others fighters. We said, you know what, we’ll pay for it — we’ll test everybody on the card.
