UFC president Dana White said that Darren Till is injured and the promotion is looking for a new opponent against Jared Cannonier at UFC 248. Till this week was revealed as the replacement opponent for Robert Whittaker, who pulled out of UFC 248 due to personal issues. However, the UFC is once again looking for a new opponent for Cannonier because Till is also injured. According to White, Till injured his ankle and is out of UFC 248.

UFC welterweight champion Kamaru Usman saw his Twitter hacked during UFC 246, but Conor McGregor isn’t necessarily buying the story. Usman’s Twitter account sent out several profanity-laced Tweets directed towards McGregor and his wife during UFC 246. At the post-fight press conference, UFC president Dana White confirmed that Usman’s Twitter was hacked.

Donald Cerrone scolded by Stephen A. Smith for “atrocious” performance at UFC 246

ESPN commentator Stephen A. Smith scolded Donald Cerrone for an “atrocious” performance against Conor McGregor in the main event of UFC 246. Cerrone was finished via strikes by McGregor early in the first round, his third straight TKO loss following defeats to Justin Gaethje and Tony Ferguson in his last two fights. Following the event, Smith appeared on the ESPN+ post-fight fight and ripped into Cerrone for what he deemed was a terrible performance.

Pettis was outstruck to lose the first round and in the second Ferreira went to his ground game as he was able to get Pettis to the mat and then finish him with a nasty neck crank. With the loss, Pettis has now suffered his first two-fight losing skid since 2016.

Mayweather always tries to insert himself into the news even when he’s not the one competing. On Saturday, McGregor returned to the Octagon after a 14-month layoff to knock out Donald Cerrone in the main event of UFC 246. Following the event, Mayweather teased a fight against McGregor and one against Nurmagomedov.

Justin Gaethje followed the action closely tonight as Donald “Cowboy” faced Conor McGregor in the main event of UFC 246 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. ‘The Highlight’, who is known for his highlight showreel of first-round finishes, was able to deliver the same outcome to Cerrone in his last fight. The former sparring partners fought each other at UFC Vancouver on September 14th 2019. The 31-year old revealed that Cerrone knocked him out during a sparring session, but Gaethje got his payback as he finished Cowboy in the first round of the main event.
