ONE Lightweight World Champion Eduard Folayang has defeated Shinya Aoki once, and if he’s going to remain champion and capture a victory in the main event of the historic ONE: A NEW ERA show, he’ll have to do it again. On 31 March, ONE travels to Aoki’s home country of Japan for one of the biggest martial arts event of the year. Eduard Folayang and Shinya Aoki have the honor of competing in the featured match of the night.

Sage Northcutt could have signed anywhere. He had an offer to stay with the UFC and face a Top-10 ranked opponent, and he had other options as well. Despite being a wanted man, the 23-year-old from Texas chose to sign with the Singapore-based ONE Championship in early 2019. He’s now set to debut opposite kickboxing specialist Cosmo Alexandre at ONE: Enter the Dragon in Singapore on May 17.

ONE Championship’s first ever Japan event, ONE: A NEW ERA, got even bigger with the addition of a fourth World Title contest to an already stacked card. The promotion announced the rubber match between ONE Bantamweight World Champion Kevin Belingon and former titleholder Bibiano Fernandes for the spectacle which takes place at the Ryogoku Kokugikan in Tokyo, Japan on 31 March. This will be the third time the two men have met, and with each man having a win each, the next one will decide the true king of the division.

On Friday, ONE Championship returned to Yangon, Myanmar with the compelling ONE: Reign of Valor card. Unlike ONE’s previous visits to Myanmar, this card was not topped by an appearance from middleweight and light heavyweight champ Aung La N Sang. Instead, the headlining bout was a welterweight title fight between champion Zebaztian Kadestam and challenger Georgiy Kichigin.
