UFC interim light heavyweight champion Jon Jones is set to fight current UFC light heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier to unify the belts in the main event of UFC 200.
Jones recently spoke with the media in a presser for the historic pay-per-view card and was asked about the last fight that he had doubts going into a fight.
Jones opened up and said it was in his fight with Quinton “Rampage” Jackson and how he had idolized the former UFC champion growing up.
“I had a lot of nightmares leading up to that fight of things not going my way,” Jones said. “For some reason, he just intimidated me.”
Jones also described the first time he ever met “Rampage” at his UFC debut and tells his embarrassing story of fanning out seeing him backstage.
