TMZ Sports caught up with current UFC featherweight champion Conor McGregor shortly after the conclusion of yesterday’s UFC 203 event and asked the brash Irish star what he thought of CM Punk’s UFC debut.

Conor, who has verbally attacked current WWE stars in recent weeks, had this to say about Punk’s first-round submission loss to Mickey Gall:

“I’ll tell you what. Fair play to him. Because he got in there and fought and not a lot of people do. Not a lot of people have the balls to make that walk so fair play. He got his ass whooped. God bless. He got his ass whooped. Those WWE guys are straight pussies I told you so. But he isn’t. He got in and fought. So fair play to him. Respect!”

Following his first-round submission loss to Mickey Gall, the former WWE star (Punk) stated that he “had the time of his life” in the cage at UFC 203 and that “believe it or not” he will be back for another fight.

UFC President Dana White reacted to Punk’s loss by saying that maybe Brooks’ next fight should take place somewhere other than the UFC.
