BJPENN.com is proud to introduce our new weekly segment “Tough Guy Tuesday”.

“Tough Guy Tuesday’s” will feature some of toughest guys to ever play professional sports, not including mixed martial arts and boxing.

In today’s inaugural article, we feature former NHL tough guy Tie Domi.

Tie Domi played 16 seasons in the National Hockey League from 1989-2006.

Domi played in 1,020 NHL games and compiled an astonishing 3,515 penalty minutes during that time.

At only 5’10” and 207 pounds, Domi did not appear to be your typical NHL fighter/goon.

However, Domi proved on several occasions that he was one of the NHL’s best fighters, who like our own BJ Penn, would take on all comers no matter what the size difference.

Check out the above video of former Toronto Maple Leaf Tie Domi (Blue) taking on former Philadelphia Flyer tough guy Donald Brashear (white).

Would you have dropped the gloves with Domi?
