The pound-for-pound best fighter in mixed martial arts, Johnson, recently spoke to TMZ Sports where he stated the following prediction for Mayweather vs. McGregor.

“I’m riding with Conor. I think Conor, he can probably get it done sooner if he goes out there being ferocious. But yea, I’m going with Conor. I think Conor’s gonna get the job done.”

“Mighty Mouse” is unsure what will come next for the Irish superstar, especially if “Mystic Mac” is able to defeat Floyd Mayweather on August 26 in Sin City.

With that said, the UFC flyweight kingpin is hoping that with the upset win, Conor McGregor will move on to challenge the winner of September’s highly anticipated Gennady Golovkin vs. Canelo Alvarez boxing fight.

“It is hard to say. I’ll tell you what, he (Conor) ain’t gonna make a big check like that in the UFC!” Johnson stated. “Hopefully Conor goes out there and knocks Floyd out, and then he can go ahead and fight the winner of GGG and Alvarez. I’d love to see that!”

If Conor McGregor is able to pull off what would be a massive upset against undefeated boxing legend Floyd Mayweather on August 26, do you think the Irish star should proceed to callout the winner of September’s Golovkin vs. Alvarez fight? Sound off PENN Nation!
