Urijah Faber watched his former friend and teammate TJ Dillashaw knockout his star pupil Cody Garbrandt in the co-main event of UFC 217 last night in New York.

With the victory, TJ Dillashaw reclaimed the UFC bantamweight title while handing Garbrandt the first loss of his professional mixed martial arts career.

“Water off a ducks back wins and losses evoke emotion. Life is about relationships and always moving forward. Proud of of the warriors in the cage tonight. @cody_nolove @sanchez__145 @tylerd1amond” – Urijah Faber

Although a rematch between Dillashaw and Garbrandt will very likely happen down the road, the newly crowned champion is now focused on a super fight with current flyweight title holder Demetrious Johnson.
