On the undercard of UFC 232, long-time UFC middleweight contender Uriah Hall was tasked with welcoming ferocious middleweight prospect Bevon Lewis to the Octagon.

This fight did not begin well for Uriah Hall. In fact, the Ultimate Fighter veteran was probably down two rounds heading into the third. Thanks to a blistering, third-round punch, however, it didn’t matter.

Mid-way through the third frame, Hall left his foe supine on the canvas with a thunderous right hook, and that was all she wrote.

See this incredible, fight-ending sequence below:

“I didn’t understand his range at the beginning,” Uriah Hall said of the win in his post-fight interview with Joe Rogan. “He created an opening, I saw him get a little tired, he gave me an opening and that’s all I needed.”

Uriah Hall dedicated this incredible victory to his sister, who is struggling with depression. See this emotional moment below.

“I wasn’t fighting for me tonight, I’m actually fighting for my sister,” Uriah Hall said, fighting back tears. “She’s battling depression, it’s been a really rough time for her. She’s such an incredible human being.”

“I love you, and this world would not be the same with you,” he said to his sister.

Uriah Hall also had some incredibly kind words for his vanquished foe. See what he had to say to Bevon Lewis post-fight in the video below:
