Former UFC interim lightweight champion Tony Ferguson has called out Conor McGregor and Khabib Nurmagomedov on social media.

“El Cucuy” sent out the following message after ESPN’s Brett Okamoto tweeted that betting lines were officially open for a Conor McGregor vs. Khabib Nurmagomedov rematch.

“You were finished… Tapped out & Quit like a bitch. Now you’re stepping on my toes you false idols @TheNotoriousMMA @ParadigmSM  @TeamKhabib Ready when you are Fathead. Don’t dodge me like #ufc209 Coward. No Loyalty to the game. -Real Champ Champ” – Tony Ferguson

As seen above, Tony Ferguson accused “The Eagle” if dodging him at UFC 209, while bashing “Mystic Mac” for tapping out to Khabib at UFC 229.

The feud between McGregor and Nurmagomedov escalated to new levels in recent days, with Conor taking shots at Khabib’s wife and the undefeated Russian calling the Irishman a “rapist”.

UFC President Dana White recently stated that the promotion has reached out to both Conor and Khabib and let them know that their recent actions on social media were unacceptable.

While nothing has been made official as of this time, it appears that the UFC is beginning to entertain a Khabib vs McGregor rematch.

As for Tony Ferguson, the former UFC interim lightweight champ was last seen in action at October’s UFC 229 event, where he scored a TKO victory over former division champion Anthony Pettis.
