Sean Strickland references Epstein files in response to UFC’s partnership with FBI: “I can’t believe they didn’t pick me”

Sean Strickland feels his name should’ve been called as part of UFC’s partnership with the FBI.
It was recently announced that Michael Chandler, Justin Gaethje, Jorge Masvidal, Renzo Gracie, Chris Weidman, Manel Kape, and Claudia Gadelha will serve as instructors to help train FBI agents. UFC CEO Dana White had been adamant about the possibility of a partnership before it was ultimately revealed.
Strickland is absent from the list of instructors, and he took to his X account to share his belief that it was a missed opportunity. He also referenced the Epstein files.
“I cant believe they didn’t pick me to train the FBI agents…. I guarantee after 25 minutes they would have found the list…”
Strickland finds himself in a good spot as he will be in yet another title fight on May 9. He is set to challenge Khamzat Chimaev for the UFC Middleweight Championship. The title fight will headline UFC 328 inside the Prudential Center in Newark.
Prior to the fight announcement, Strickland told BJPenn.com that he expected Chimaev to be forced to defend the 185-pound gold at some point.
“No, I think he will eventually,” Strickland said. “I think whenever the Chechen warlord says, ‘Alright, it’s time for you to go represent us,’ I think he’ll be forced to fight. I don’t think he likes fighting. I mean, fighting sucks. It’s [expletive] scary, it’s hard, but I don’t think he’s a natural fighter. He’s a natural grappler, maybe.”
The comment was made prior to Strickland’s brilliant performance against Anthony Hernandez in the UFC Houston main event. The former middleweight champion delivered a crushing knee to the body of “Fluffy” before putting the bout away with strikes in the second stanza.
