Michael Bisping believes it would be a good idea to book Paddy Pimblett vs. Benoit Saint Denis for the UFC 329 International Fight Week event. Pimblett has said in his vlogs that he’s planning to return to the Octagon sometime this summer. “The Baddy” fell short in his bid to capture the interim UFC Lightweight Championship back in January. He was defeated by Justin Gaethje via unanimous decision. Gaethje will be meeting Ilia Topuria in a title unification bout at UFC Freedom 250, while Pimblett will look to get back in the win column soon.

Carlos Ulberg is the new UFC light heavyweight champion, but he is not a household name yet. UFC fans learned that the hard way during night two of WrestleMania, when commentators completely failed to clock the champ when he appeared on screen. Ulberg won the vacant light heavyweight belt at UFC 327 earlier this month, when he survived a disastrous leg injury to knock out Jiri Prochazka in round one. Having recently undergone surgery to repair his injury, he will not be fighting anytime soon. However, he is clearly making the most of his new championship status, as he was front and centre for Sunday’s Roman Reigns vs. CM Punk showdown.

Pimblett, a former Cage Warriors champ, got off to a red-hot start in the UFC, with seven straight wins, including victories over Tony Ferguson, King Green and Michael Chandler. His luck finally ran out at UFC 324 in January, when he suffered a decision loss in an interim lightweight title fight with Justin Gaethje.

Curtis Blaydes recently took some time to sit down and rewatch his classic fight with Josh Hokit, and he shared the experience with his fans. Blaydes, one of the UFC’s longest tenured heavyweight contenders, met Hokit at UFC 327 in Miami earlier this month. Despite the fact that Hokit was just 2-0 in the Octagon ahead of time, he ultimately defeated Blaydes by decision. That being said, Blaydes had plenty of success in the fight himself, giving it as good as he took it in a Fight of the Night winning war.

RAF specializes in freestyle wrestling matches. Despite being just a few years old, the promotion has made some big waves. Thats thanks largely to its signing of high profile UFC fighters and MMA veterans like Arman Tsarukyan, Colby Covington, Henry Cejudo, Merab Dvalishvili, Bo Nickal, and now Chimaev.

Dana White has heard claims of a title eliminator being attached to one UFC Freedom 250 fight, but he isn’t committing to it. A marquee fight scheduled for the June 14 White House card will be contested in the bantamweight division. Former 135-pound titleholder Sean O’Malley is set to collide with Aiemann Zahabi. During a fan Q&A session hyping up this past Saturday’s UFC Winnipeg card, Zahabi claimed he received word that his fight against O’Malley will be a No. 1 contender bout.

Mike Malott was all class following his UFC Winnipeg victory over Gilbert Burns, who has announced his retirement. Malott and Burns shared the Octagon inside Canada Life Centre this past Saturday. Malott sent the Canadian crowd home happy after scoring a third-round TKO victory. It ended up being a bittersweet moment in Winnipeg, as Burns revealed that he’s hanging up his gloves after suffering his fifth loss in a row.

In a recent vlog with Adam Zubayraev, Chimaev dismissed the thought of harming Strickland inside the Octagon beyond the effects of combat sports competition. What was quite eye-opening, however, was when “Borz” discussed what would happen in a street fight between the two. That’s when Chimaev said, “If he dies, he dies.”

Burns shared the Octagon with Mike Malott inside Canada Life Centre in hopes of securing his first win since 2023. It didn’t work out that way for “Durinho,” who was stopped in the third round via TKO. After the fight, Burns took off his gloves and announced that he is done with MMA competition.
