See how McGregor reacted to this unfortunate news below:

“I called that little snake way back,” he wrote on Twitter. ” I’m the new St. Patrick.”

While Conor McGregor doesn’t seem to have a lot of sympathy for TJ Dillashaw, it’s important to note that Dillashaw maintains he didn’t ingest a banned substance intentionally.

“To all my fans, I wanted to be the first one to let you all know that USADA and the NYSAC have informed me of an adverse finding in a test taken in my last fight,” Dillashaw wrote in his official statement on this news. “While words can’t even begin to express how disappointed I am at this time, please know that I’m working with my team to understand how this occurred and how to resolve the situation as quickly as possible. Out of fairness and respect to the rest of my division, I’ve informed the UFC that I’ll be voluntarily relinquishing my title while I deal with this matter. I want thank all of you in advance for the support.”

The United States Anti-Doping Agency (USADA), which is currently reviewing Dillashaw’s case, also reminds the MMA community to withhold judgement until all the facts are collected.

“In this instance, we are able to confirm the finding due to Mr. Dillashaw’s public statement,” an official USADA statement read. “The presumption of innocence under the rules is a vital part of an effective anti-doping program and it’s only fair that Mr. Dillashaw be allowed due process before any conclusions are drawn.”
