It’s a highly-anticipated matchup and in the lead-up to the fight, the Georgian is a slight underdog as he’s -105 to defeat the Aussie. Yet, Topuria has full confidence he will beat Volkanovski with ease.

PFL heavyweight contender Francis Ngannou is out to take Anthony Joshua’s soul in their boxing match next month. ‘The Predator’ recently signed a deal to return opposite ‘AJ’ in Saudi Arabia on March 8th in Saudi Arabia. For those who remember, Anthony Joshua was initially expected to face Deontay Wilder on that date. However, due to ‘The Bronze Bomber’ being upset by Joseph Parker in December, he was replaced by Francis Ngannou.

UFC featherweight contender Ilia Topuria isn’t interested in facing Paddy Pimblett in a cage. ‘El Matador’ is currently slated for the biggest fight of his life later this month at UFC 298. Fresh off a dominant win over Josh Emmett last summer, Ilia Topuria will attempt to win featherweight gold. On pay-per-view, he will face the dominant Alexander Volkanovski, back for the first time since a knockout loss to Islam Makhachev last October.

The rivalry between ‘Magnum’ and the Polish fighter is likely to go down as one of the best in women’s MMA history. Back in March 2020 at UFC 248, Joanna Jedrzejczyk and Zhang Weili met for the first time. With women’s strawweight gold on the line, the two went back and forth for 25 minutes.

Dustin Poirier admits he was surprised when he got offered to fight Benoit Saint-Denis at UFC 299. After Poirier was knocked out by Justin Gaethje in a fight for the promotion’s BMF belt, ‘The Diamond’ wasn’t sure what would be next for him. He said he needed a fight that would get him out of bed in the morning, and he thought Rafael dos Anjos or another former champion made sense.

Paddy Pimblett and Renato Moicano have agreed to fight one another following Saturday’s UFC Vegas 85 main event. Moicano picked up a decision win over Drew Dober in the co-main event of UFC Vegas 85 on Saturday to extend his win streak to two. Following his win, the Brazilian took to social media to claim that Dober should fight Pimblett next as he thinks it would be a good test for both of them.

It certainly felt like McCann’s back was against the wall going into UFC Vegas 85, but she showed up and showed out with a first-round armbar finish against Diana Belbiţă.

UFC welterweight Charles Radtke isn’t likely to get paid for interviews anytime soon. Radtke was featured in the main card opener of UFC Vegas 85 this past Saturday. He shared the Octagon with Gilbert Urbina inside the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada. “Chuck Buffalo” landed a devastating left hook that sealed the deal near the end of the opening frame. He is now a cool 2-0 under the UFC banner. Radtke also extended his winning streak to six, and hasn’t lost a pro MMA fight since March 2021.

Aljamain Sterling feels the shackles are off now that he has moved on from the bantamweight division. Sterling had been an elite bantamweight, capturing UFC gold in the division and defeating the likes of Henry Cejudo. His run came to a halt last year when Sean O’Malley scored a TKO victory over him in the second round at UFC 292. Once it became clear that he wasn’t getting an immediate rematch, Sterling made the move to the featherweight division. He’ll be facing top contender Calvin Kattar at the historic UFC 300 event on April 13.

Themba Gorimbo believes he knows how he can get a UFC title shot before 2024 comes to a close. Gorimbo scored his second straight victory after stopping Pete Rodriguez with an overhand right. It only took Gorimbo 32 seconds to snatch his second win under the UFC banner. Not one to take the slow and steady approach, Gorimbo wants a piece of UFC hardware this year. While that may seem far-fetched given how far down the ladder Gorimbo is at welterweight, he believes there is a clear path for him to quickly slide into the 170-pound title conversation.

Renato Moicano certainly garnered some attention following his hilarious post-fight speech at UFC Vegas 85, and he even had Conor McGregor chuckling. Moicano was in action this past Saturday against a dangerous Drew Dober. After three rounds of action, it was Moicano who had his hand raised via unanimous decision. Few could’ve anticipated what Moicano would say during his post-fight interview given he’s been quite the character as of late. The Brazilian submission artist did not disappoint, delivering a post-fight speech that fans won’t soon forget.

Drew Dober has issued a statement after suffering a decision loss to Renato Moicano at tonight’s UFC Vegas 85 event. Dober (27-13 MMA) was returning to action this evening for the first time since scoring a first-round TKO victory over Ricky Glenn at October’s UFC Vegas 80 event. That finish had put the Denver native back into the win column, as he had previously suffered a TKO loss to Matt Frevola at UFC 288.
