Conor McGregor is thrilled that his former opponent Jose Aldo is returning to the UFC. Aldo received his release from the promotion following his decision loss to Merab Dvalisvhili as he wanted to pursue boxing. He ended up having two boxing matches, going 1-0-1 and he will now return to the Octagon at UFC 301 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil to face Jonathan Martinez.

Fighters believe that the TKO antitrust lawsuit settlement reached earlier today was a massive win for the UFC. In case you’ve missed it, the UFC just wrapped up a decadelong lawsuit against them. Fighters such as Nate Quarry, Cung Le, Jon Fitch, and others, began suing the massive MMA company in 2014. They alleged the company broke several antitrust laws in their pursuit to become the sport’s biggest promoter.
