“I was dominating Carlos Condit, which is a hard thing to do. I surprised him with the leg kick. He wasn’t expecting it because he’s the leg kicker. So for me to go out there and chop his leg down … his knee got injured from getting taken down, from a great, timed double leg. It’s just a part of the game, like if I did an armbar and he doesn’t tap or I do a choke and he doesn’t tap. It’s a part of the game so it doesn’t take away from the victory for me because I was dominating the fight.” In Saturday’s co-main event, Tyron Woodley walked away with a TKO victory over Carlos Condit.

In last Saturday’s UFC 171 co-main event, Carlos Condit suffered a knee injury that forced a premature stop to the bout. As a result, Tyrone Woodley picked up a second round TKO stoppage and Condit will likely be out of commission while in rehab.

The Bellator MMA weigh-ins have been completed from Chicago’s Horseshoe Casino in preparation for Bellator MMA’s March 14th event, which will showcase the Featherweight World Title fight and the opening rounds of the Bellator Season 10 Welterweight Tournament. Bellator MMA will take place from Horseshoe Casino on Friday, March 14th with the first fight taking place at 5:45 p.m. CST and streaming LIVE on Spike.com. The televised portion of the night will begin at 8:00 p.m. CST and will air LIVE on Spike TV.
