When Rafael dos Anjos withdrew from his UFC 196 main event scrap with Conor McGregor at UFC 196, there was no shortage of top ranked fighters campaigning for the fight against McGregor. Ultimately the UFC gave Nate Diaz the bout on short notice. After that bout was announced, Urijah Faber revealed that Dana White offered him the fight, however Conor McGregor turned it down in favor of a with with Nate Diaz.

At the UFC 196 press conference Wednesday afternoon, things got quite heated between Conor McGregor and Nate Diaz, as many expected. The pair threw verbal insults at one another throughout the course of the press conference, with Nate Diaz even going as far as to accuse Conor McGregor of using steroids.

In the co-main event of Bellator 149, Dada 5000 and Kimbo Slice fought for nearly 3 full rounds. The pair were both exhausted from the first round, which forced referee ‘Big’ John McCarhy to even stand the pair up when Kimbo had Dada 5000 in mount at one point.
