Tuesday evening, news broke that former UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva was out of his UFC 198 Pay-Per View scrap against Uriah Hall with a condition that could see ‘The Spider’ have his gallbladder removed. With less than a week to go until fight night, Tim Kennedy, who has been out of the Octagon since his controversial 3rd round TKO loss to Yoel Romero at UFC 178, is campaigning to fill in and fight Hall on short notice.

More injuries are causing problems for the UFC. After a late report on Tuesday that Anderson Silva was forced to pull out of his UFC 198 bout against Uriah Hall, BJPENN.COM has learned that UFC featherweight Dennis Siver has pulled out of his UFC 199 bout with BJ Penn.

Former middleweight king Anderson Silva has faced another setback putting him on the sidelines. Yahoo! reported late Tuesday that Silva was forced to pull out of his scheduled bout with Uriah Hall scheduled for May 14 at UFC 198 “due to abdominal pain that may require gall bladder surgery.”

Tuesday afternoon news broke that UFC Hall of Famer BJ Penn’s fight against Dennis Siver at UFC 199 would take place on the televised prelims, as opposed to the Pay-Per View section of the card, as many expected. According to MMAFighting, Penn vs. Siver will serve as the main event of the preliminary card before Dustin Poirier vs. Bobby Green kicks off the Pay-Per View portion of the card.

Dhafir Harris, better known as Dada 5000 has gone through a lot since he entered the cage at Bellator 149 on February 19. Dada 5000 had a lackluster fight with Kimbo Slice and was sent to the hospital in critical condition immediately after the fight. Dada 5000 says that he was brought back to life after he was pronounced dead in the hospital, suffering from cardiac arrest, dehydration, fatigue and renal failure.
