Yesterday evening Ariel Helwani announced on Twitter that he had been removed from Saturday’s UFC 199 event in Los Angeles by Zuffa staff members prior to the fight cards conclusion and was told that he and his friends were now “banned for life”. I was escorted out of the building by Zuffa staff before the main event. Credential taken away, too. Didn't see Bisping realize his dream.

Yesterday evening news broke that former UFC heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar would be returning to the octagon on July 9 in Las Vegas for UFC 200. An opponent for “The Beast” has yet to be named by UFC officials, which has resulted in several fighters taking to social media to campaign for the spot.

Michael Bisping (30-7 MMA) shocked the mixed martial arts world last night in Los Angeles by earning a stunning first-round knockout victory over Luke Rockhold in the main event of UFC 199. Bisping and Rockhold engaged in a heated conversation at the UFC 199 post fight press conference and that bad blood carried over in to today as “The Count” posted the following photo on social media taunting the former champion:

During last night’s UFC 199 pay-per-view broadcast UFC officials announced that former heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar would be returning to fight at July’s blockbuster UFC 200 event in Las Vegas. An opponent for “The Beast” was not given at the time, but we now know that an announcement will be made Monday June 6 on ESPN.

During Saturday night’s UFC 199 pay-per-view card in Los Angeles it was announced that a rematch between current UFC featherweight champion Conor McGregor and perennial lightweight contender Nate Diaz had been booked to headline August’s UFC 202 event in Las Vegas. Despite coming out victorious in their first encounter at UFC 196, Nate Diaz has been labelled the early underdog in his rematch with McGregor, this according to MMAOddsBreaker:

Former Strikeforce champion Dan Henderson scored an absolutely brutal knockout victory over former Bellator title holder Hector Lombard at last night’s UFC 199 event in Los Angeles. The 45-year-old landed a head kick on Lombard and then hit him with an elbow that caused “Lightning” to fall crashing to the canvas in the bouts second-round.

Dominick Cruz scored an impressive unanimous decision victory over bitter rival Urijah Faber in the co-main event of yesterday’s UFC 199 fight card in Los Angeles. Cruz was able to utilize his excellent footwork and head movement to frustrate Faber for the majority of the fight. “The Dominator” dropped Urijah in the bouts second-round but was unable to finish “The California Kid”.

Michael Bisping was able to shock the mixed martial arts world yesterday in Los Angeles by scoring a first-round knockout victory over Luke Rockhold to claim the UFC’s middleweight championship. “The Count”, who took yesterday’s title fight on just two weeks notice, was able to catch Luke Rockhold with a couple of big left hands before putting him to sleep with some shots against the cage.
