Before former middleweight champion Michael Bisping captured UFC gold, he was working his way up the ladder like he did so many times before. On that road, Bisping met almost everyone of note in the upper-echleon division, including prolific striker Cung Le.
On August 23rd, 2014, Bisping travelled to Macau, China to face Le in the hopes of getting back in the win column after a decision loss to Tim Kennedy.
Le was at a high point in his career as he came off of his stunning knockout victory of former middleweight champion Rich Franklin in a knockout of the year candidate.
Bisping used most of the fight’s allowed 25 minutes to build upon his reputation as one of the hardest workers in the UFC.
