Michael Bisping bashes Eddie Hearn over Tom Aspinall claim: “I never mentioned a goddamn word about his compensation”

Michael Bisping isn’t thrilled with Eddie Hearn’s dig towards him regarding Tom Aspinall.

Many experts have weighed in on Aspinall’s current situation with the UFC brass. Aspinall is the promotion’s reigning heavyweight champion, but things have been dicey between both sides. The titleholder signed a talent agency deal with Hearn’s Matchroom company after being displeased with UFC CEO Dana White’s remarks about the double eye injury he suffered during his Oct. 2025 bout with Ciryl Gane.

Bisping recently questioned Aspinall’s time away from the Octagon as well as his partnership with Hearn. Appearing on “The Ariel Helwani Show,” Hearn said Bisping should be “ashamed” for putting down Aspinall and not wanting to see him get paid. Bisping fired back at the top boxing promoter during an edition of his “Believe You Me” podcast (h/t MMAJunkie).

“Why should I be ashamed? I have no idea the money that Tom is getting paid,” Bisping said. “I’m not a part of that. All I ever said, and I think anyone with half an ounce of intelligence can see it, that Eddie Hearn is muddying the waters with something between him and Dana White and his perceived war and beef that he has with Dana. That’s all I said. I never mentioned a goddamn word about his compensation. I hope Tom Aspinall gets paid sh*t loads. I hope you can go out there and get him a contract for $30 million per fight. It’s no skin off my nose. That’s what I want for all fighters. What the f*ck are you talking about, Eddie? That’s it. I just had to say that. That’s a lie. To say those word, that I should be ashamed – I never said that. I just said it’s a bit weird that he’s not fighting, and Eddie Hearn is now managing him. We all know that.”

Aspinall’s path should be clear if cooler heads eventually prevail with the UFC brass. Gane defeated Alex Pereira in the UFC Freedom 250 co-main event to capture interim gold. A title unification bout is the move to make if Aspinall can reach an understanding with the promotion he’s called home since 2020.

Who are you siding with here? Do you think Michael Bisping is justified in his response to Eddie Hearn, or is “The Count” being biased in favor of the UFC brass? Share your opinion in the comments below.
