Following the bout, St-Pierre ultimately retired from MMA. Since then, there has been much speculation as to whether or not GSP would return to the Octagon. While initial rumors put GSP’s return at UFC 200, we now know that St-Pierre will not be returning at the historic event. With Conor McGregor retiring yesterday, and subsequently being pulled from his UFC 200 rematch with Nate Diaz, many are wondering if St-Pierre will be tapped to fill in against Nate Diaz given that his talks with the UFC have reportedly been going well.
