The Irish superstar has been active on social media in recent weeks, sharing photos from both his training and sparring sessions.

In one of his most recent posts on Instagram, Conor McGregor was pictured sparring against a teammate who had duck tape wrapped around his head.

After the photo surfaced, tons of fans began commenting on the post asking Conor McGregor why his sparring partner was wearing duct tape around his head.

“Mystic Mac” responded to one fan with the following explanation.

“@justhere4aday to keep the ear on his head from exploding it is warriors only around here. Gorrillas in war zone mode.” – Conor McGregor

Conor McGregor has not stepped foot inside the cage since defeating Eddie Alvarez via second-round TKO at UFC 205 in November of 2016.

Despite being absent from the UFC for nearly two years, Conor McGregor has still managed to keep his name in the headlines.

“Mystic Mac” sent shockwaves throughout the mixed martial arts world when he and his entourage attacked a UFC fighter bus at The Barclays Center the same weekend of April’s UFC 223 pay-per-view event.

Conor McGregor has since made it clear that Khabib Nurmagomedov was his target during the now infamous bus attack in Brooklyn.

Meanwhile, “The Eagle” seems to be unfazed by McGregor’s antics. The current UFC lightweight champion has gone a perfect 26-0 during his mixed martial arts career, his latest win coming over Al Iaquinta via decision at UFC 223.
