Friday evening an official report broke that prizefighter Adrien Broner had been indicted on felony assault and robbery charges stemming from his March robbery incident. Broner allegedly lost $12,000 while bowling, and then proceeded to get the money back later that evening in the parking lot at gunpoint. After defeating Ashley Theophane, Broner turned himself in to the Cincinnati Police before posting bail. Shortly after that, Broner was taken into custody once again for violating probation from a previous charge.

This past weekend Manny Pacquiao stepped into the boxing ring for the final time as he faced Timothy Bradley in a trilogy fight. Pacquiao ultimately won the fight via unanimous decision, knocking Bradley down two times during the course of the fight. Following the fight however, Mayweather reportedly told Bradley that he scored the fight a draw. This didn’t sit too well with ‘Pac Man’ who responded with a brief, but harsh, comment released through BoxingScene.com:

HBO boxing’s Jim Lampley felt the same way about it, but said on his podcast with Bill Simmons that the way the UFC is set up right now, there is no way that the MMA promotion can ever build a fight as big as Mayweather-Pacquiao (transcribed by MMA Fighting).
