Kevin Ferguson Jr. is set to make his Bellator MMA debut next month, according to an Associated Press report by ESPN.

If the name sounds familiar, Ferguson Jr. is the oldest son of the late Kevin Ferguson, who was better known as Kimbo Slice.

Ferguson Jr. or “Baby Slice” will make his professional MMA debut on the Bellator 160 undercard that will be headlined by Benson Henderson vs. Patricio “Pitbull” Freire.

“Baby Slice” will be in Bellator where his dad was one of the biggest stars on their roster. His debut comes less than three months since Kimbo’s death.

“I won’t say I adjusted well or it didn’t bother me, but I was talking to him a few days before, so I understood what was going on,” Ferguson Jr. said.

“It was more of a shock to the world, put it like that. It was still a very big tragedy, but I got through it. I’m still getting through it. I won’t say I’m over it, but I’m working on it, I guess.”

An opponent has not been named for “Baby Slice,” but is expected to be announced shortly.
