Cincinnati’s own, Rich ‘Ace’ Franklin, believes a third bout against, Anderson Silva, the man responsible for the end of his title reign, would have a different outcome than the previous two bouts. “Would I fight Anderson a third time? Dana White tweeted on Friday night that Ronda Rousey will be defending her title against Alexis Davis at UFC 175. The event will take place on July 5th, 2014 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Whether you are a fan of his from the PRIDE days or not, it was difficult to watch Antonio Rogrigo Nogueira get knocked out the way he did at ‘UFC Fight Night 39’. Roy Nelson earned a ‘Performance of the Night’ bonus due to his display of power in the main-event, but it was clear ‘Big Nog’ simply was not what he used to be.

It has been a long time since we saw a nut-shot cause a fight to end early, but we almost saw it tonight when Ryan LaFlare blasted John Howard downstairs. LaFlare had Howard pinned against the fence and while working the clinch, he threw a knee that accidentally landed below the belt.

Ramsey Nijem was looking to embarrass whichever bookies labeled him as an underdog tonight in his bout against young Beneil Dariush. While Dariush looks like he has a ton of potential, he was no match for the Ramsey Nijem that walked into the octagon tonight.
