Matt Brown Is A Great Fighter Who Isn’t Great At Interviews
Matt Brown is an awesome fighter.
But if he’s not choosing his words poorly in interviews he’s not being Matt Brown.
The latest example of this comes in the form of today’s media event, where the top UFC welterweight fighter fumbled up and used a word not really accepted by most people.
“I anticipate to be a favorite once, I don’t know, maybe I’m champion or something,” he said. “Maybe they put me against some retard or something, I don’t know. That’s irrelevant in my mind.”
While Matt Brown’s resume of destruction speaks for itself, maybe the ring is where he should do most of his talking. The Columbus Ohio resident, who faces Robbie Lawler in this weekend’s UFC on FOX 12 main event, last hit the controversy train when he said if women are fighting in the UFC he won’t watch unless their topless.
