Manny Pacquiao decimated Chris Algieri tonight in Macau. Algieri landed a few good shots throughout twelve rounds of action, but it was absolutley no surprise when Pacquiao had his hands raised in victory after the judges’ decision.

It seemed like for every jab Algieri landed, Pacquiao responded with a two or three punch combination of his own. Pacquiao’s offense was methodical as he circled around Algieri like he was his prey. He was able to drop Algieri six times in the first ten rounds and he proceeded to simply pick him apart in rounds eleven and twelve.

Algieri is not known for his power so it was expected that he would come into this fight with a great strategy. Either he completely blanked while on the canvas or the volume of Pacquiao’s output in strikes made him choke; whatever it was, Algieri looked bad.

Manny Pacquiao def. Chris Algieri by way of Unanimous Decision (119-103, 119-103, 120-102)
