Kimbo Slice wants the Bellator heavyweight championship

By bjpenndotcom - December 24, 2015

While Kimbo Slice is coming off a TKO win over Ken Shamrock, and is currently booked to fight ‘Dada 5000’ on February 19th at Bellator 149, he’s already setting his sights on a much bigger goal, the Bellator MMA heavyweight championship.

Slice spoke to MMAJunkie to discuss why winning the Bellator heavyweight championship, or even just competing for it, would be a dream come true.

“The ultimate goal would be to fight for a title. How else would I want to end my career? When I think about not fighting or retiring, I would want the last fight to be for me to fight for a title. I want to shoot for it. To end up with a title or just in the realm of that would be amazing in itself. It would be priceless.”

Currently Vitaly Minakov is the Bellator MMA heavyweight champion, and with an undefeated 17-0 record he certainly would be the toughest test yet for Slice.
