Edson Barboza has stepped in to replace Nurmagomedov, according to an announcement from the UFC on Friday.

While Nurmagomedov has hinted at retirement following his latest injury that has put him out of competition once again, Ferguson and Barboza look to take the opportunity to showcase their skills.

Ferguson is on a 6-fight win streak and looks to continue to make his name in the division with a win over Barboza. Barboza has won 3 of his last 4 fights, with his last victory over Paul Felder being awarded Fight of the Night.
