UFC on FOX 17 Results: Vicente Luque submits Hayder Hassan in Round 1

A rematch between welterweights Hayder Hassan (6-3 MMA) and Vicente Luque (8-5-1 MM) served as the second bout of the UFC on FOX 17 Fight Pass Prelims.

Hassan lands a coupe of solid leg kicks to get things started. Luque is aggressively moving forward and lands a big shot on Hassan. Hayder is rocked and shoots in for a desperate takedown. Luque is able to lock in an anaconda choke and it is deep. Hassan tries to fight off the hold but it’s not happening and he is forced to go to sleep.
