Valentina Shevchenko takes issue with Ronda Rousey’s OnlyFans dig: “It’s 2026”

Valentina Shevchenko is none too pleased being lumped in Ronda Rousey’s rant towards UFC.

Rousey is set for a comeback fight against Gina Carano on May 16, but the bout will not be taking place under the UFC banner. Instead, the bout will headline a card on Netflix that is being promoted by Jake Paul’s Most Valuable Promotions.

During a recent press conference hyping up the Netflix event, Rousey took aim at UFC’s current business model. “Rowdy” fired shots at low fighter pay and even mentioned Shevchenko’s OnlyFans account in an attempt to prove her point.

“It used to be that the UFC was the best place to go in combat sports to make a living and be paid fairly, and now the UFC is one of the worst places to go,” Rousey said. “It’s why so many of their top athletes are leaving to find pay elsewhere, and their champions like Valentina [Shevchenko] are selling pictures of their t—– on OnlyFans.”

This did not sit well with “Bullet,” who had a fiery response on her X account.

“It’s 2026,” Shevchenko wrote. “Fighters using OnlyFans is just a new way to connect with fans. Looks like Ronda slept too long after her last fight in 2016.”

Shevchenko is the reigning UFC Women’s Flyweight Champion. Her last title defense took place in Nov. 2025 at UFC 322. Zhang Weili vacated the 115-pound gold in an effort to chase another title. Ultimately, Shevchenko retained the flyweight championship via unanimous decision.

Whether or not Rousey will stick around after her bout with Carano remains to be seen. A finishing win might be enough to entice “Rowdy” to seek more big paydays.

What do you make of Valentina Shevchenko’s response to Ronda Rousey? Do you think “Rowdy’s” mention of the OnlyFans account was ill-advised? Sound off in the comments below.
