While details regarding the injury weren’t immediately available, a report emerged shortly after that Dollaway was one of several UFC 203 fighters stuck on an elevator the night before the fight. Unfortunately, Dollaway was injured in the elevator mishap, and was forced to withdraw from the bout with a back injury.

Video footage of the situation showed Urijah Faber, and Fabricio Werdum also trapped on the elevator with their respective teams. However, everyone else was uninjured in the elevator situation.

Now, Ariel Helwani has revealed new details about the situation, revealing that the incident wasn’t the only elevator incident that occurred leading up to UFC 203.

With less than 12 hours until the fighters are set to go to war at Quicken Loans arena in downtown Cleveland, the MMA community is collectively crossing their fingers that there are no more elevator situations, and that the event goes off without a hitch.

Stay tuned for updates as they become available.
