One fan went way over the top following the judge’s majority decision that had Conor McGregor as the winner over Nate Diaz at UFC 202 over the weekend.
According to KZRG, 25-year-old Ulysses Liaina was arrested for unlawful use of a weapon in Missouri after firing gunshots at the Flying J Truck Stop on East 32nd Street.
“Witnesses and friends all said he just pointed it straight up in the air. And so he wasn’t aiming at anybody, it was apparently his method of venting,” said Joplin Police Captain Bob Higginbotham.
Police collected a Ruger 9mm and 13 casings for evidence.
Liaina claimed that he was upset over the outcome of Nate Diaz and Conor McGregor’s UFC 202 fight when asked about the incident.
